Jason Kelce ‘admits’ he doesn’t wash his feet and criticizes Harrison Butker in the process

Jason Kelce, a charismatic figure in the NFL, has fully embraced the world of entertainment since retiring from football.

Whether it’s appearing on his podcast with his brother Travis or making waves on social media, the former Philadelphia Eagles center continues to stay in the spotlight.

Recently, Kelce posted some rather peculiar tweets on his Twitter account, implying that he ‘doesn’t wash his feet’ and seemingly criticizing Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker in the process.

What did Jason Kelce say?

Kelce responded to a fan’s tweet that suggested he ‘looked like he didn’t wash his feet.

“What kind of weirdo washes his feet?” Kelce posted on Twitter.

“You’ve all been told diabolical lies that washing every nook and cranny of your body and hair is better or healthier.

“Any dermatologist who isn’t with the Big Soap Companies will agree. Dirty spots are necessary and in fact, they help you have healthier skin.”

Kelce‘s comments were clearly ironic, parodying the kind of rhetoric often used by conservatives. Some even interpreted his tweets as a direct criticism of Harrison Butker.

With his ironic remarks, Kelce appears to be mocking Butker‘s views and those of the conservative community.

What was Butker in the news for?

Butker has been roundly criticized for his recent comments on women and marriage at a college speech he was asked to give.

“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world,” he said to the women in the crowd.

“But I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

This speech has since been widely criticized, not least by Katy Perry, who repurposed the words of the speech into a humorous song.
