Retired NFL star Jason Kelce has a wonderful family life that he sometimes shares with his audience on the ‘New Heights‘ podcast he co-hosts with his brother Travis Kelce. In one of the most recent episodes, Jason joakes about a lie he tells his daughters about cats because he doesn’t want to get a cat for his household. What he chose to tell them is that cats are actually ery dangrous beasts because they are poisonous. But he doesn’t understand that saying these things to children an early age can make them grow confused about certain aspects of everyday life. This is very different to what parents tell their kids about Santa Claus, who is considered a ficticious characters. Feral cats are the most invasive species on the planet but they are not poisonous.
Auntie Taylor Swift to the rescue
In case you are not aware, taylor Swift adores cats and has cats in her household, she has raised cats all her life. So what will Jason Kelce do when his daughters and Taylor Swift inevitably talk about this. Surely Taylor is not going to entertain the idea that cats are poisonous but that will make Jason Kelce’s entire theatre fall apart and his daughters will lose trust in him. This is what Jason said: “I think lying to your kids is important. Mine will go over to a friends house and f– scream bloody murder because they see a cat.”
Travis Kelce has always been very open with his family life, his entire core family appears constantly on their own Netflix reality show and all of his daughters are featured there. MAny different celebrities have done this in television history. This level of exclusivity inside the Kelce household tells us much about his family’s personality and their demeanor. Based on what we’ve seen, it’s entirely possible that Jason Kelce does have a lot of explaining to do and maybe even buy a cat. Eventually. Unless Taylor Swift decides to lie to the girls too, this little tactic is doomed to fail.
