Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has achieved a stat that no Super Bowl-winning quarterback-past or present-has been able to replicate.

Daniels led the Commanders to back-to-back games where the team scored on every offensive drive, a feat pointed out by NFL on CBS via the social media platform X.
What makes this accomplishment even more significant is that the likes of Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees have managed to collectively achieve this only twice over the course of their illustrious careers.
The Commanders’ young star has wasted no time making a name for himself in his rookie season.
Through just three games, Daniels has amassed 664 passing yards and two touchdowns.
His completion rate tops the entire NFL, and with a QBR of 67.9, he ranks seventh in the league, according to ESPN.
Perhaps his most eye-popping achievement came during the Commanders’ Week 3 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, a game in which Daniels completed 91.3% of his passes.
This shattered the rookie record for completion percentage with at least 20 attempts, previously held by Dallas Cowboys’Dak Prescott, who posted 88.9% in 2016.
“It’s a blessing to go out there each Sunday and do things that a lot of people in the world can’t do,”Daniels shared during the postgame press conference.
“I’m a competitor. I wanna compete at the highest level.”

Daniels wasn’t just accurate-he was dominant on the ground as well.
The LSU product rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown, helping the Commanders improve to a 2-1 record.
His dual-threat ability has transformed Washington’s offense, powering a rushing attack that ranks fifth in the league with 153.7 yards per game.
What truly sets Daniels apart, however, is the rarity of his stat line from Monday night.
According to NFL researcher Tony Holzman-Escareno, Daniels is the first player in NFL history to pass for 250 yards, throw two touchdowns, rush for a touchdown, and complete 90% of his passes in the same game, dating back to at least 1950.
Despite some early-season overreactions about whether Washington should have selected Daniels over top prospect Caleb Williams, the Commanders appear to have struck gold with the No. 2 overall pick.
Daniels is already being touted as the franchise’s long-term solution at quarterback, bringing stability to a position that has long been a revolving door in Washington.
“I felt like I showed exactly what I was hoping to on one of the NFL’s biggest stages,”Daniels said, reflecting on the win and his standout night.
Daniels will look to build on this early momentum as the Commanders prepare for their Week 4 matchup against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
