Jayson Tatum is one of the most important players in the NBA and he has been invited to multiple television shows because of his popularity. This time he was on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and he spoke about Draymond Green’s future.
Now, everyone knows these two players are very close but the fact that Tatum thought that Green could change careers is hilarious. The Boston Celtics star was playing a game in which he had to answer questions the audience wrote.
When Jimmy Fallon asked what NBA player he thinks could have a career in the WWE as a wrestler, Tatum paused for a second and then said “I love him to death, Draymond Green” between laughs from him and the TV show host.
Playful joke shows some truth
The fact Jayson Tatum believes that even if their friendship is close, is an indicator that he knows exactly the way that Draymond Green can act when he has his buttons pushed. The Golden State Warriors player has been involved in WWE-like situations in the past.
Green has been suspended and fined multiple times as he has been part of multiple brawls on an NBA court. He has even been provided with mental health experts and counseling as part of the help the league gives players.
This does not avoid the fact that he is still one of the most important players on the Warriors but his ways have affected him in the past. Only time will tell if he can control himself, first for him but also for his team.
