After the firing of coach Robert Saleh, the New York Jets had a slight improvement, but it was not enough against the Buffalo Bills. Aaron Rodgers‘ team added its third consecutive loss after falling 23-20 at Metlife Stadium in New York.
Rodgers threw for 294 yards and two touchdown passes, but he suffered an interception on his last offensive series when the team was looking to tie the game. The quarterback did not hold back on wide receiver Mike Wiliams performance on that last play.

“There’s two verticals, Allen (Lazard)’s down the seam, and Mike’s down the red line,” Rodgers said after the game. “So, I’m throwing a no look to the red line. When I peak my eyes back there Mike’s running an ‘in-breaker’ … it’s gotta be down the red line,” he added at the time.
Mike Williams has responded
Mike Williams was not available to the media early in the week as he missed two days of practice due to “personal reasons.” He did practice on Wednesday and he will be considered to play against the Steelers. On Friday we spoke about the play against the Bills.
“I just have to be on the red line,” he told reporters, just like Aaron said. “We all watched film, we all go through it and make corrections, (…) we’re definitely still building (chemistry).”
