Stephen Curry is arguably the best shooter to ever play in the NBA and Sunday night, he made sure to remind the rest of the world that he’s a generational talent.

The Davidson Wildcats standout scored 30 points in under 30 minutes in the Warriors’ 126-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center on Sunday.

Night night! Jimmy Butler loses his mind and bows to Steph Curry after an insane three-pointer

Superstar Jimmy Butler added 18 points, five assists and three rebounds, while Draymond Green recorded 13 points with six assists and four rebounds. The win got Golden State on 9th place of the Western Conference, just one spot behind the Mavericks.

Curry blows Butler’s mind with a three-pointer

Steph Curry shot 60 percent from the field and pulled out his signature ‘Night Night’ celebration in the third quarter. It was a special night for the shooter as he kept receipts over one of his opponent’s gestures. Following the games the Mavs beat the Dubs in Dallas this season, PJ Washington was spotted mimicking Curry’s celebration.

With the Warriors leading by 24 points, Steph wasted no time utilizing his signature celebration. In the third quarter and having hit a three on the previous possession, he used a Kevon Looney ball screen to get the switch onto – who else but Washington himself.

Curry hit a step-back three in Washington’s face and flashed his signature ‘Night Night’ while yelling in excitement back down the court. The very impressive move got the Chase Center crowd screaming out of joy and Jimmy Butler couldn’t help but bow to Steph’s greatness. The Dubs are now 5-1 with Butler in the lineup and recorded their first three-game winning streak since November.

Butler looks to get a championship in Golden State

Jimmy Butler is one of the most prolific scorers in NBA’s recent history, and his skills and determination is unquestionable. However, the former Marquette University standout has not been able to win a championship with his previous teams – Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Miami Heat -.

He plans to make a deep run with the Golden State Warriors and finally get the NBA trophy he’s been looking for since he entered the league, in 2011. As for the Dubs, they want to make another run for the Larry O’Brien before Steph Curry and Draymond Green lose their ability to be contenders.

Curry and Klay Thompson – now with the Dallas Mavericks – became known as “The Splash Brothers” and they ran the league with their explosiveness. They won the championship in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022, but also lost two NBA Finals (to the Toronto Raptors in 2019 and to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.)

So 2025 is a perfect chance for Jimmy Butler and the Warriors to go back to their championship level and get the trophy.
