A video recorded by a fan from the stands shows the supposed tension between Luka Doncic and JJ Redick, his coach at Los Angeles Lakers.

JJ Redick has sought to downplay the tension by stating that his heated interaction with Doncic during the game against the Warriors was “very normal” and that both Luka and he laughed about the moment.

At halftime of the game, which the Lakers won 129-101 against the Warriors, Redick sat Doncic down.
The two had a heated exchange that ended with Doncic standing and staring at his coach. Jarred Vanderbilt got up to step in between his teammate and his coach.
The video went viral on social media, gaining traction as fans speculated about the relationship between the two.
“I encourage the guys to talk to me or our coaches, to raise their problems and tell us what they need. I just don’t know why it went viral. It seemed very normal to me,” said JJ Redick.
