“How did it feel when Draymond Green punched you?” the fan asked. Poole paused before responding candidly: “It’s tough, bro.”
The brief answer was all it took to send social media into a frenzy, with fans reflecting on the infamous 2022 incident during Poole‘s time with the Golden State Warriors.
Drafted by the Warriors in 2019, Poole had been an integral part of their 2022 championship run. Yet, during a heated practice ahead of the 2022-23 season, a confrontation with Draymond Green escalated, and Poole was struck in the face.
