Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, tired of losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, could make a game-changing move to finally win a Super Bowl

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills aren’t running out of time, but it must be exhausting to constantly be a Super Bowl contender and fail to seal the deal… because the Kansas City Chiefs exist. However, this could change if they add more vital pieces to the team.

With the NFL Draft just around the corner, and not before bringing in a Pro Bowler like Joey Bosa, the Bills could make unexpected moves to surround Josh Allen with talent.

Why not consider a star wide receiver?

According to Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com, the Bills should bet on a high-quality, star wide receiver to complement Josh Allen in the offense.

“Two other names to monitor are New Orleans Saints receiver Chris Olave, who does come with a concerning concussion history, and maybe Minnesota receiver Jordan Addison.” Parrino writes. “The Vikings just gave All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson a monster new deal and Addison will be extension eligible after the 2025 season. The Bills and Vikings have pulled off a trade in the past for a big-time receiver and Beane should look into Addison’s availability. From the outside looking in, Addison seems to have played his best ball when Jefferson was out of the lineup in 2023. He’s a vertical threat who can win at all three levels. I think he’d be a fun addition to the Bills offense” he writes.

The Bills have two second-round picks in this year’s draft, so if Olave or Addison could be acquired via trade, it’d be perfect-especially if they could also snag an additional third-round pick. This could provide an immediate boost.

It seems unlikely that the Minnesota Vikings would let Jordan Addison go after winning 14 games, especially with a rookie quarterback like J.J. McCarthy, but anything can happen. On the other hand, with Olave, the New Orleans Saints are nearing a point of no return where they’ll have to part with stars to rebuild the team.
