Josh Allen honored to work with Michael Jordan, he has barely heard of Caitlin Clark

Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen recently had the honor of collaborating with NBA legend Michael Jordan on Gatorade’s new ad campaign, “Is It In You?” In an interview, Allen shared his excitement about working with one of his idols, describing the experience as “so iconic” and “pretty dang cool.”

Despite their collaboration, Allen revealed that he has not yet met Jordan in person. “We’ve talked through other people. We were trying to get a golf round together. Hopefully, in the future, we can make that happen,” Allen told GQ.

The campaign also features rising WNBA star Caitlin Clark, who has garnered significant attention lately. Allen admitted he’s been off social media for a while but acknowledged the buzz surrounding Clark and her positive impact on the WNBA.

Allen’s treacherous pants

In a lighter moment, Allen recalled the hilarious incident that occurred in March during a trip to Paris with his girlfriend, actress Hailee Steinfeld. Allen was spotted rushing out of his car, leaving Steinfeld behind, and later took to X (formerly Twitter) to explain the situation.

“My pants got ripped during our dinner date,” Allen recounted. “I had the cargo pockets, so I reached down like, ‘What do I have in here?’-as I reached down I could feel the back of my leg. Listen, when I say rip, it wasn’t a small tear. It was from belt loop all the way down. Total disintegration of something.”

Climbing fame two steps at a time

The Bills’ signal-caller humorously speculated that the tear might have happened while taking the stairs two at a time. Fortunately, he had an overshirt tied around his waist, which spared him from complete embarrassment.

As Allen continues to make strides both on and off the field, his recent collaboration with Michael Jordan and his candidness about personal mishaps endear him even more to fans. And while he eagerly anticipates meeting Jordan in person, his focus remains on leading the Bills to success in the upcoming NFL season.
