Josh Allen’s ex-girlfriend Brittany Williams is in some hot water after some Instagram comments went viral following news the Buffalo Bills star is engaged to Hailee Steinfeld.

It comes after a social media user commented on one of Williams’ posts, asking if she “hadn’t found her next pro athlete yet.”

Following the announcement that Allen, 28, was engaged to Steinfield, 27, a comment from Williams’ account clapped back at the user.

“Luckily my boyfriend owns a team and doesn’t play for one. don’t have to be with another brain dead CTE athlete,” Williams’ account brutally responded.

The comment went viral on social media, which prompted Williams to respond via her Instagram Stories.

“My accounts have been hacked several times tonight. Trying to get it resolved. If anyone has any tips please Imk,” she wrote, with the original comment and her reply now deleted.

Allen and Williams’ history

Allen and Williams were childhood friends and dated each other for nearly a decade.

However, they split in early 2023 with Allen linked to Steinfeld by May 2023. They made their first public appearance in October 2023 at a Buffalo Sabres game.

They then made their relationship Instagram official in July as they embraced in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Steinfeld opened up about their relationship while speaking in the October edition of her newsletter Beau Society. She discussed a holiday memory of the two when they accidentally bought each other the same Christmas gift – a cooking knife.

“After we exchanged our knives lol, he told me there’s an old wives’ tale that if you gift your significant other a knife, you have to pay for it, otherwise it signifies the severing of a relationship,” she wrote.

“So we exchanged quarters to avoid the bad omen.”
