Luka Doncic finished against the Phoenix Suns with 40 points, but very frustrated. His Dallas Maverickslost in Arizona, 114-102, in a game in which they had almost no choice at any time. And Kevin Durant stole almost all the spotlight.

Durant became the eighth player in NBA history to reach 29,000 points against the Mavs.

But it was a punctual moment of the game that has transcended the most and it is not his ephemeral basket or a key action for the victory.

At one point in the game, Doncic had to defend KD, who challenged him and dunked a basket against the Slovenian’s futile attempt to score.

Upon returning to the other side of the court, you can see (in the video) how Durant addresses Doncic with the “too small ” (too small or too small) on his lips and even gesticulating with two fingers.

Durant is a maetsro of ‘trash talking’ (trash language) in the NBA, a very vocal player both with his teammates and with his rivals. In this case, the victim of his shot was Luka Doncic.
