Lamar Jackson and his big game makes one Bucs fan switch teams

Lamar Jackson’s remarkable dominance against NFC teams has become one of the most reliable trends in sports.

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback added to his impressive record, leading his team to a commanding 41-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night at Raymond James Stadium. With this win, Jackson improved to an incredible 23-1 against NFC opponents, and the Ravens boosted their season record to 5-2, while the Buccaneers slipped to 4-3.

Jackson’s exceptional performance was the highlight of the night. He completed 17 of 22 passes for 281 yards, threw five touchdown passes, and avoided any interceptions.

On the ground, he contributed 52 rushing yards, further showcasing his versatility. The Ravens’ offense, however, was a collective effort, with key players like Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews, and Rashod Bateman stepping up. Henry rushed for 169 yards and caught a touchdown pass, Andrews scored twice, and Bateman tallied 121 receiving yards and a touchdown.

One Bucs fan offered to change his team

Despite the final score, the game didn’t start smoothly for Baltimore. Tampa Bay jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead, highlighted by Mike Evans’ 100th career touchdown. But the Buccaneers’ fortunes took a sharp turn when Evans dropped a potential touchdown pass and injured his hamstring, forcing him to leave the game.

Things got worse for Tampa Bay when Baker Mayfield threw a costly interception to Marlon Humphrey in the end zone.

From there, Lamar Jackson took over. He connected with Mark Andrews and Justice Hill for touchdown passes, turning the momentum in Baltimore’s favor. Humphrey’s two interceptions helped the Ravens build a 17-10 lead by halftime, though he was later ruled out with a knee injury.

Jackson’s best moment came on a 49-yard touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman, followed by another score to Andrews. Derrick Henry’s 81-yard run helped set up one of the scores, as the Ravens showcased their dynamic offense.

One fan was so enamoured with Jackson’s performance that he was captured on video offering to withdraw his support for the Bucs and place it with the Baltimore franchise.

“The Ravens are the best f*cking team in the NFL,” the fan shouted after removing his Tampa Bay jersey.

Although the Buccaneers briefly closed the gap after recovering a backward pass from Jackson, his leadership remained steady. Jackson even blocked for Henry on a long run and finished the day with his fifth touchdown pass.

With Jackson looking like an MVP candidate, the Ravens are firmly in the playoff conversation. They’ll now prepare for a divisional showdown against the Cleveland Browns as they aim to extend their winning streak.
