LeBron James gets called out by a LA Clippers’ fan and the man immediately embarrass himself in a packed arena

It takes a certain level of confidence to call out one of the greatest basketball players of all time in a packed arena and state that you are a better shooter than him, and that’s exactly what happened to a 40-year-old Los Angeles Clippers fan.

The Clippers played Los Angeles Lakers Sunday night and LA’s underdog team beat the squad lead by superstar LeBron James 116-102 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Clippers ‘ fan embarras himself trying to show LeBron James how to ball as a 40 year-old

Apart from the match, a mid-game fan contest organized by the Clippers went viral after a man dissed LeBron, saying that he would show James how it’s done at his age. “I feel good and I’m going to show LeBron how a 40-year-old is supposed to do it.” the fan said as the crowd got excited to see his basketball skills.

A total and epic embarrasment

However, the fan’s trash talk game wasn’t nearly as good as his shooting skills, as he missed the wide-open sitters under the rim with a chance to make money through different spots. It was so bad that the man attempted multiple shots and was only able to make one, which earned him $100.

The Clippers organizer felt really bad for the man and even nicknamed him Paul Wall (because of his resemblance to Houston rapper). “We are all rooting for you, there we go!”, the woman said. However, the cheers were not enough to save the fan from having an epic failure.

The fans kept receipts and some didn’t miss the chance to call out the 40-year-old man. “Bro straight embarrased himself lol he can’t even jump”, an X user wrote. “Average LeBron hater”, another one posted. “I’m a Clipper fan and this is very funny”, someone else added.

Clippers dominated the Lakers at home

Norman Powell scored 22 points, James Harden added 21 points and 12 assists and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers 116-102 on Sunday night in the Lakers’ first visit to the new Intuit Dome.

Kawhi Leonard had 19 points and Ivica Zubac had 21 points and 19 rebounds for the Clippers in the first meeting of the season between the former hallway rivals at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.

James had 25 points and 11 assists and Rui Hachimura added 19 points. Anthony Davis had 16 points and 10 rebounds in his return after missing a game with plantar fasciitis. The Lakers two-game winning streak ended.

Leonard tied his season high playing 24 minutes but none in the fourth as he continued under a minutes restriction in his fifth game of the season. He scored eight in a row to surpass 14,000 career points in the third, when the Clippers built their biggest lead of 26 points.
