Lebron James returns to the court this night when the Lakers receive the Bulls at the Crypto.com Arena. He has been absent for the last seven games for the Los Angeles team, which has recorded four wins and three losses in that span.
The impact he has brought to the team over the years is incredible. The guy is playing his 22nd season in the NBA, tied as the most played by anyone else with Vince Carter. Lebron showed his age this morning after filming himself inside his SUV rapping a ’90s classic., on what I believe is his way to the Arena.
Like in the old days! Lebron James rapping inside his car prior his return to the court
“Hold Ya’ Head” is a song from Makaveli which belongs to the Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory album which was launched in November of 1996. This Makaveli was used as a pseudonym for the iconic rapper 2Pac. These were the last finished records from him before his death in September of the same year.
Even though Lebron was just 12 years old when Tupac got shot, he can obviously consider himself a fan, and I can truly say that the King in his young years enjoyed the fifth album studio from the rapper. The album was produced by Death Row Records (The D.O.C., Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey.) and Interscope Records (Jimmy Iovine and Ted Field).
Back in September of 2023, Bron got emotional in socials after Tupac’s death anniversary number 27. He dedicated a big message and more than the length is a sign of admiration for King from King.
The album could be a motivation routine before his return to the court against the Bulls or maybe is just a sign of his music taste. Whatever it means to Lebron James, the album that debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in 1996 and sold 664,000 copies within its first week of release was remembered by one of the greatest of the game.
