Le’Veon Bell roasts Logan Paul: ‘Biggest duck ever’ after fight fallout

The buzz around a blockbuster crossover fight between former NFL star Le’Veon Bell and WWE personality Logan Paul has suddenly fizzled, and Bell isn’t holding back on social media.

What began as trash talk and a high-stakes boxing challenge quickly deteriorated into accusations of ducking, corporate interference, and public embarrassment for Paul. Fans had been eagerly anticipating the showdown, curious to see if Bell‘s athleticism and boxing skills could match Paul‘s experience in exhibition bouts.

Over the past week, Paul made headlines when he publicly offered $1 million to any NFL player willing to step into the ring with him. On his podcast Impaulsive, he confidently claimed that “not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match,” a statement that stirred excitement and debate across sports and social media communities.

The provocative offer captured the attention of several current and former NFL athletes, with Bell being among the most vocal in expressing interest.

Bell, a standout running back during his NFL career, has been building a reputation in boxing since leaving football. With over 6,500 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns under his belt, he was eager to prove that his athletic skills could translate into the squared circle.

According to posts from their exchange, Paul and Bell had reportedly agreed on match conditions, including 10-ounce gloves, no headgear, and three-minute rounds continuing until someone yields, with the winner taking home the prize.

WWE pulls the plug

However, on Sunday, the highly anticipated fight faced an unexpected twist. Paul revealed that WWE had blocked him from competing, citing concerns over potential injuries and the proximity of major wrestling events like WrestleMania.

This decision effectively eliminated the possibility of the match going forward. Paul later took to X (formerly Twitter), announcing his return to RAW and taking shots at Bell and other potential opponents, labeling them “bums” and insinuating the opportunity had passed them by.

Bell, unsurprisingly, responded without holding back. On X, he branded Paul‘s withdrawal as the “BIGGEST duck we’ve ever seen,” dismissing the WWE explanation and portraying the situation as a tactical retreat rather than a legitimate obstacle.

His comments quickly went viral, sparking debate among fans about Paul‘s credibility in taking on real, high-level competition versus staged or controlled exhibition bouts.

What started as a playful rivalry between athletes from two very different worlds has escalated into a viral clash of personalities.
