Inter Miami is one of the names for the next FIFA Club World Cup. The team of Lionel Messi, Luis Surez, and company are the guests to the tournament, they will be in the opening match and they already know all their rivals after Thursday’s draw.
The MLS team, invited to this new version of the tournament, avoided many of the tough teams of the draw despite being in Pot 4. Luck dictated that they will have to deal with only one UEFA team and perhaps the least strong of all those qualified within Group A.

Messi and company will play the opening match at Dolphins Stadium. Group A of next year’s new Club World Cup pairs Inter Miami with Palmeiras from Brazil, Porto from Portugal and Al Ahly from Egypt, which will be the rival of Inter on the opening day of the tournament.
Inter Miami’s debut in the Club World Cup
The start of the tournament is scheduled for June 15, 2025 and Inter Miami is going to play that first game at the Hard Rock Stadium, so we already know when they will play their first duel, although the rest is yet to be determined.
The rest of the Club World Cup matches will be announced later, since FIFA wants to assign the matches of greatest interest to the stadiums with the largest capacity, something that will make the fans acquire tickets as soon as available.
The 2025 Club World Cup can be seen live, for free, through the DAZN platform, FIFA announced the day before the draw, so it is even more appealing to them to try and watch this new version of the tournament.
