It’s a different life after coaching the New York Jets, at least for Robert Saleh. After being fired from the team, he was spotted as a normal human being in New Jersey this week for the first time since his departure from the NFL.
He started the season 2-3 and things were not going anywhere, that is why he was released. Although many believe that owner Woody Johnson relieved him from his duties after wearing a Lebanon flag patch on his sleeve.
Now, he looks to resume a normal life without any NFL-related business, at least for the time being, as he looks to relax while living in a place near to where he used to coach.
The shopping has begun
He was recently seen in a gray hoodie sweatshirt, jeans and white sneakers while shopping for groceries at a local Whole Foods on Tuesday, as the 45-year-old did have some time to answer one question.
A photographer came near him and asked if the masses will see him on an NFL sideline soon. Saleh seemed very sincere while replying, “God willing,” before driving off in a black SUV.
The photographer also asked him what he was doing, and the former Jets coach answered that he was “living the dream”. Of course, that seemed like a joke after he finally got a chance to be a head coach in the NFL in 2021after having a successful run with the San Francisco 49ers as a defensive coordinator.
