The 211 LA organization expressed its gratitude after Taylor Swift‘s selfless donation to combat the damage caused by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, declaring that together they can “make a difference.”
Wildfires have torched 40,000 acres across Southern California and have demolished over 12,000 buildings but the humanitarian impact is the true disaster, with over 200,000 people being forced to abandon their homes. Unfortunately, over 25 have been killed.
Fires engulfed the Golden State from Tuesday, January 7 and were worsened by 100mph winds that carried embers for miles, as they quickly threatened to spiral hopelessly beyond the control of fire crews.
Three sites remain burning as of January 16, including the largest two, and celebrities and have banded to together to donate, including the 35-year-old Love Story singer as she gave an unspecified amount to charity and listed 10 organizations, one which was deeply grateful.

Swift also donated to California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief, Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles.
She also donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, MusiCares, and the Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund.

Swift also called for her own fans to donate relief funding too, and based on her impact from the 2024 United States Presidential election when she inspired over 300,000 people to register to vote, that calling could be significant.
