Magic Johnson’s weekend was full of good news in all the teams he is related to, as an owner or as an NBA legend, after it was announced that the Los Angeles Dodgers got the last jewel available in free agency, being chosen by the Japanese phenomenon Roki Sasaki.
Roki Sasaki chose the Los Angeles Dodgers to begin his Major League Baseball career, after dismissing several teams that wanted him, the last being the San Diego Padres and Toronto Blue Jays.

“For Roki” and “5-time NBA champion” could be read between the number 32 that accompanied Magic to be a legend of the Lakers, a team that for the benefit of Johnson, also gave him another satisfaction on Friday night, beating the New Jersey Nets 102-101, to leave their record 22-17 and placed in sixth place in the NBA Western Conference and second in the Pacific, half a game behind the Clippers.
