The Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and his wife dedicated their Thursday to his mother for her birthday as Randi Mahomes turned on August 8 in what the family described as “the happiest day of the year.”
The matriarch of the Mahomes clan turned 52 and as a result, all of the family including Patrick‘s brother, Jackson and sister, and his two children enjoyed a trip by the waterfalls and greenery and briefly posed for the camera.
“Happiest Day of the Year,” Randi posted online with her family around her, although Patrick‘s father was seemingly absent. “Bumped into a friend who said I looked very refreshed since retiring.
“Best compliment to me. (smiling emoji) Happy Day.”
The 52-year-old previously admitted to not enjoying retirement as much as she might have hoped after leaving her career, which she held down firmly for two decades whilst raising the triple Super Bowl champion.
Patrick found the time to slip away from training with the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 NFL season to spend time with on her birthday, whilst the outfit currently prepares in St. Joseph.
It’s thought that they’re still in Missouri, however. The family is from Texas but one of Randi‘s Kansas City-based friends posted, “So many good memories present. So glad you’re in town.”
Who do the Kansas City Chiefs play on opening night?
The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off their 2024 NFL season on opening night by playing against the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of the 2023 AFC Conference Championship game when Mahomes defeated Lamar Jackson 17-10.
The game is scheduled for September 5, 2024 at the Arrowhead Stadium and will be broadcast on NBC during the prime-time slot, starting at 20:20 ET/19:20 CT/17:20 PT.
The Chiefs are looking for a record third Super Bowl win in a row after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024 with Taylor Swift watching from the stands.
