Georgina Rodriguez recently revealed her relief and excitement over Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Manchester United to Al Nassr, offering insight into how the move marked a positive shift for her and the football icon.
While Ronaldo’s much-publicised feud with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag left fans disheartened, Georgina saw the move as a welcome change.
In the latest season of I Am Georgina on Netflix, the 30-year-old model shared her feelings about Ronaldo’s transfer to Saudi Arabia, saying, “When Cristiano told me that he’d be playing for Al Nassr, I was so relieved. Because I really wanted to leave Manchester.”
While the exit from Old Trafford came with its share of tension, Georgina suggested that the couple was ready for new beginnings. “I knew something great was in our future. We were so excited,” she added, highlighting her optimism about the new chapter.
Adjusting to life in Saudi Arabia was initially challenging for the family, with reports suggesting that Georgina considered a return to Madrid early on.
