Manus AI publishes agent prompt guide for non-technical users ahead of expected Meta integration, positioning autonomous AI tool for mainstream adoption.

Manus AI Releases Beginner Guide as Meta Integration Looms

Manus AI dropped a beginner’s guide this week aimed at turning casual users into power users of its autonomous agent platform—a move that signals the company’s push toward mainstream adoption ahead of its expected integration into Meta’s product ecosystem.

The guide, published February 11, focuses specifically on agent-style prompts that differentiate Manus from standard chatbots. Unlike typical AI assistants that respond to single queries, Manus handles multi-step tasks autonomously: tracking progress, making decisions, and following through without constant user input.

What’s Actually Useful Here

The documentation breaks prompts into five categories: daily life automation, life admin tasks, work productivity, research monitoring, and personal support. Key phrases like “take ownership,” “track this over time,” and “follow up when needed” trigger Manus’s agent capabilities rather than simple chat responses.

Practical applications include project management with deadline tracking, inbox triage with draft replies, and goal-to-action conversion where the AI breaks objectives into scheduled steps. The platform can also monitor topics for changes and notify users when action becomes necessary.

Meta Acquisition Context

This user education push comes at a pivotal moment. Meta announced its acquisition of Manus developer Butterfly Effect Pte Ltd in late December 2025, with reports valuing the deal between $2-3 billion. The integration timeline remains unclear, but recent reports from February 8 indicate Meta is preparing to incorporate Manus alongside other AI tools including Avacado and OpenClaw.

Manus launched its iOS app on February 10, bringing autonomous workflow management to mobile users just days before this guide dropped. The timing suggests a coordinated effort to expand the user base before the Meta transition.

Performance and Market Position

The platform has demonstrated strong technical capabilities, outperforming OpenAI’s Deep Research agent on GAIA benchmarks—a standardized test for AI assistant capabilities. Manus operates as a multi-agent system, coordinating specialized AI models to execute complex tasks asynchronously.

The associated Solana-based token MANUSAI currently trades at negligible levels with minimal volume, reflecting its meme-coin origins rather than any utility connection to the actual Manus platform. Traders should note the token has no official relationship with the company’s operations or the Meta acquisition.

For users, the real value lies in the platform itself. As Meta prepares to potentially roll Manus capabilities into its 3 billion-user ecosystem, early familiarity with agent-style prompting could prove worthwhile. The guide is available at manus.im/blog.
