Conor McGregor is clear about one thing: Spain will win the European Championship.
The Irish fighter, one of the biggest figures in the history of MMA, launched a message on his social media in which he even dared to predict the result: 3-1 in favor of ‘La Roja’.

“Hey guys, Spain are winning 3-1 tomorrow. I have placed 100k at the amazing odds of 19/1. This result will see me take in 2m cash as well as the 1.1m I will cash on them just winning! 3.1m all in! The match is on my birthday! Tomorrow! Good luck and YOU’RE WELCOME!” he wrote. The odds, as he later corrected, are 25-1 for that result.
McGregor could take home a nice payday
Even before the final of the European Championship has kicked off, McGregor bet on Spain’s final victory through one of his sponsors.
Should the bet he placed remain open, he would win another million dollars as he indicated earlier in his message. He also bet that Argentina would win the Copa America… and he has a chance.
Where he failed was in the choice of Cristiano Ronaldo as the Golden Ball of the European Championship. He didn’t get it right. McGregor, by the way, will turn 36 tomorrow.
