They say love arrives when you least expect it, and Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are proof of that. Recently, the rap star said she feels incredibly comfortable in her relationship with the NBA star, and to demonstrate this, she threw him a lavish birthday party.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Stallion admitted that Thompson came into her life when she least expected it. “I didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest,” the singer admitted.
After a little over seven months of making their relationship official, Stallion admitted she had never felt this way:
This is one of the first times that I’ve been just overly comfortable. I’m comfy, babe!

Megan surprises Klay with a star-studded birthday party
This past February 8th, the four-time NBA champion turned 36. As expected, Megan didn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate, throwing him an epic party.
The “HISS” singer started the day by showing off her party outfit: a tight white dress with black polka dots, a deep V-neck, and minimal accessories.
The party was just as expected, packed with stars from the entertainment and sports worlds. What Thompson didn’t expect, however, was a performance by one of his favorite rap groups.
Megan went all out, inviting Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Klay’s favorite rap group, to perform at the party. Needless to say, the private mini-concert was a huge success.
Thompson’s not having his best year
On the contrary, Thompson’s professional life is hitting an unexpected rough patch. This year, the star guard is part of the Mavericks’ bench, with averages that don’t compare to previous years:

- 2.4 rebounds
- 1.4 assists
Thompson seems to be proving the old adage true: lucky in love, unlucky in the court. At least he can expect another wild birthday bash this year.
