Michael Jordan might be a 62-year-old billionaire with NBA GOAT status, but that didn’t stop him from partying like a college kid over the weekend – in what appeared to be a frat house basement.
Yes, you read that right.
A video making the rounds online shows the basketball legend vibing with a much younger crowd, enjoying the music, and even telling the DJ to spin Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” – adding fuel to the fire of the Drake-Kendrick beef and leaving no doubt whose side MJ is on.
Fans couldn’t believe their eyes.
The Internet blindsided by Jordan
“What’s MJ doing in someone’s frat house basement?” one X (formerly Twitter) user asked, while another joked, “I’m crying looking at the demographics of the video and Michael Jordan just vibin and it all makes so much sense LMFAO.”
Jordan, who’s worth a reported $3.5 billion and owns a NASCAR team, is usually spotted courtside, out on a golf course, or chilling on one of his luxury fishing boats – not surrounded by 20-somethings who never even saw him play live, let alone dominate the 90s with the Chicago Bulls.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Another resurfaced video is going viral this week – this time showing MJ getting owned by none other than magician David Blaine.
Jordan Vs. The Magic (But not the Orlando one)
In the clip, Blaine invites Jordan to take part in a card trick, asking him to shuffle the deck behind his back to conceal the chosen card. But in classic MJ fashion, the ultra-competitive icon tried to outsmart the illusionist – by not shuffling at all.
It backfired spectacularly.
Blaine still nailed the trick, exposing the exact card Jordan had picked – and putting the GOAT on blast in front of everyone. A visibly frustrated Jordan exclaimed, “I didn’t shuffle the card, that’s what he wanted me to do!” trying to save face but clearly annoyed at getting caught.
From frat basements to magic tricks gone wrong, MJ’s been making headlines for reasons no one saw coming – and the internet can’t get enough.
