Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, has found himself in legal trouble once again.
The 34-year-old was arrested on Monday in Orange County, Florida, and faces multiple serious charges, including driving under the influence (DUI), possession of cocaine and resisting arrest.
According to TMZ, he was booked into the Orange County Jail, and his bond was set at $4,000.
Authorities have yet to release full details regarding the circumstances that led to his arrest, but sources confirm that Jordan was pulled over late at night before being taken into custody.
A history of legal run-ins
This is not Marcus Jordan‘s first brush with the law. In 2012, he was arrested in Omaha, Nebraska, on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing justice after an altercation outside a hotel.
He later pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace and was required to pay a fine.
Beyond his legal troubles, Jordan is well known for his high-profile relationships. His most talked-about romance was with Larsa Pippen, a reality television star and the ex-wife of NBA great Scottie Pippen.
Their relationship drew significant media attention due to their 16-year age difference and the underlying history between their fathers-Michael and Scottie-who were legendary teammates on the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan and Pippen‘s relationship lasted for over a year before they called it quits in early 2024. Reports indicated that the two were on different life paths, though Pippen later spoke positively about Jordan, noting that their split was amicable.
Following their breakup, Jordan was linked to Ashley Stevenson and Nicole Murphy, though none of these relationships have been confirmed to be serious.
News of Jordan‘s arrest quickly spread across social media, sparking conversations about his troubled past and his ties to basketball royalty.
Some fans expressed disappointment, while others speculated about how Michael Jordan, a notoriously private individual, would respond to his son’s legal issues.
