The Kansas City Chiefs are off and running at training camp as they gear up for another run at a Super Bowl. The team is looking to win a third straight championship, which has never been done in the Super Bowl era (since 1967).
They are the current favorites, and it’s no surprise given they made offseason additions at key positions. They also bring back Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, the veteran backbone of the team. Kelce has been very active and vocal during training camp, and he delivered another memorable quote on Saturday.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Travis Kelce share strange moment
Kelce was walking alongside Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire when the two, unprompted, gave some content to the camera.
CEH looked at the camera and said: “This is my friend, Travis“. To which Kelce responds with: “Hi, I’m his friend” in a weird voice.
Kelce is friends with just about everyone, except for maybe George Karlaftis after their recent dustup, but it’s no surprise he’s particularly close with Edwards-Helaire.
The two have been teammates for the past four seasons, and he’s currently the longest-tenured offensive teammate – alongside Lucas Niang – of Kelce’s not named Mahomes.
