We are on the threshold of a new NBA season, and there’s no better way to get into the mood than with the preseason that begins this Friday, October 4. The Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets will be in charge of giving the tip-off of this season with a game at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Jayson Tatum will lead the newly crownedBoston Celtics in the first of two games in Saudi Arabia against Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets, champions of the 2022-2023 season.
The game will begin at noon ET (10:00 a.m. CT/9:00 a.m. PT). Live broadcast will be available through NBA TV and with NBA League Pass. The game will be available online through YouTube.
Also on Friday, the Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Los Angeles Lakers at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. This game will make history, as it will be the first time that LeBron James and his son, Bronny, will share an NBA court.
The regular preseason will consist of 71 games and concludes on Friday, October 18. The regular season will begin on Tuesday, October 22, when the New York Knicks visit the Celtics at TD Garden.
