Nikki Glaser will host the 82nd Golden Globes, and all of Hollywood is scared. In fact, it’s not just Hollywood, even the NFL is terrified by the wild barbs the comedian can unleash at the slightest provocation and even without provocation, as Tom Brady can attest.
Glaser is one of the most recognized comedians in Hollywood. The Nikki & Sara Live alum stands out by her irreverent humor and keen observation skills. Both qualities make her one of the best stand-up comedians and ideal when it comes to roasting someone. Right, Tom?
Throughout her nearly 12-year career, Comedy Central has called on her to roast stars like actors Rob Lowe in 2013, Bruce Willis in 2018, and Alec Baldwin in 2019. However, one of her most memorable moments was in 2024, in The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, where no one in the NFL was safe.

Glaser’s roasting of Brady was nothing short of epic, starting with his divorce from Gisele Bndchen. “Tom Brady, five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns, you have seven rings…Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” Nikki fired off as a warning shot.
The reason for the divorce also came up. “Tom, the only thing dumber than you saying yes to this roast was when you said, ‘Hey, babe, you should try jiujitsu.'”
Tom’s retirement soap opera was such an obvious target for Nikki that she preferred to combine it with another controversial episode in the player’s life for a +3 in sharpness. “I get it. Hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend,” Glaser recalled of Brady’s split with actress Bridget Moynahan.
No one is safe from Nikki
Not even the other roasters were safe. Drew Bledsoe and Rob Gronkowski were like sitting ducks for Glaser’s shots. “I’m gonna move on from you, just like your team did after you almost died,” Nikki said to Bledsoe.
Gronkowski was the butt of another joke, motivated by Brady’s misfortunes. “Tom also lost $30 million in crypto. Tom, how did you fall for that? I mean, even Gronk was like, ‘Me know that not real money,'” Glaser joked.
The comedian has previously trashed another NFL great, all because of Brady. “I love you in commercials,” Nikki told Peyton Manning at the Rob Lowe roast, “I’d say you’re the greatest of all time. You’re like the Tom Brady of commercials. Like, the greatest.”
So hold on tight, NFL, because Nikki Glaser is on her way to the Golden Globes.
