NFL legend Peyton Manning hilariously surprised everyone during the live television broadcast during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The former quarterback made his debut as an Olympic commentator for NBC, Manning co-hosted with the renowned voice of “Sunday Night Football,” Mike Tirico, along with country music artist and now TV talk show personality Kelly Clarkson.

Peyton had the great idea to wear and use his QB wrist coach during the Olympic opening broadcast to have the most relevant information at hand and not hesitate to talk about the Olympics, when Manning made use of it, it generated a hilarious moment full of laughter from his teammates and those present on the set.

Manning surprised everyone by using his QB wrist coach, Kelly Clarkson pointed directly at Peyton’s wrist as she couldn’t believe her eyes and laughed out loud. Mike Tirico also had a reaction with laughter when he turned to see Manning use this key tool for NFL quarterbacks as he could immediately observe the plays to be made during the game and actions that have been practiced during practice.

Paris kicked off its first Summer Olympics in a century on Friday with a rain-soaked, rule-breaking opening ceremony studded with stars and fantasy along the Seine River.

As global audiences tuned in, Paris put its best foot forward – quite literally, with a spectacular Olympic launch that lifted spirits and joyous French cancan dancers featured early on. A humorous short film featured soccer icon Zinedine Zidane. Plumes of French blue, white and red smoke followed.
