Paige Bueckers leaves Angel Reese behind and makes history by joining NBA star in new collaboration

Paige Bueckers had a great first year in the WNBA despite not playing in the playoffs, becoming the 2025 Rookie of the Year and averaging 19.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 36 games with the Dallas Wings.

Her impact on the league did not go unnoticed, and she had no shortage of offers to collaborate with brands. Now, even in the offseason, Bueckers has teamed up with an NBA star to launch a bold new product.

Paige introduces a new snack flavor

Bueckers stole the show with Angel Reese after the two teamed up with Oreo at the New York Knicks vs. Orlando Magic game to promote the Reese’s Oreo Cup, bringing together two of the most recognized WNBA athletes of their generation. Dressed in the brand’s orange and light blue uniforms, the two danced together, posed with Reese’s cookies, and stole the show.

Now, together with NBA superstar Chris Paul, the two athletes have introduced a snack flavor called Ragerz, under Paul’s Good Eat’n brand.

The 12-time All-Star told People that they were looking for someone “authentic, a leader, and full of energy,” and they immediately thought of Paige. For the 24-year-old rookie, this opportunity was more than special:

My agent came to me with the idea, and first I was like, ‘it’s Chris Paul. I’ve looked up to him since I was young’… So obviously that opportunity was exciting – to work with Chris, learn from Chris,” Bueckers said.

This collaboration went beyond the creation of a new flavor; it marked the birth of an important milestone: “This is the first time a WNBA player has had equity stakes with an NBA player and his brand. To be the first to do something is exciting because it means you’re not going to be the last. It’s kind of the start of something,” Paige added.

Regarding the new flavor, the Wings star said they wanted “something spicy“: “I liked the chili flavor, the lime flavor, but I also liked the spice and the kick. The chili lime one’s definitely my favorite, and the roll of the tortilla chip is my favorite version of the chip,” Bueckers explains.

Food is an unbelievable connector… We wanted something that connects a family, not just kids or adults,” Paul added.

Meanwhile, the collaboration was also announced on Good Eat’n’s official Instagram account with a fun promotional video and in the description, they added: “These rolled tortilla chips come with real ingredients, unbelievable crunch, and a spice level that did not come to play. We’re welcoming Chili Lime and Sweet Chili Crisp to the Good Eat’n fam this month. Fire flavors. Nothing fake.”

They also explained that a portion of all Ragerz sales will be donated to charity and that Good Eat’n and the Paige Bueckers Foundation will partner to donate Ragerz and other snacks to feed children in the United States.
