The Kansas City Chiefs‘ Patrick Mahomes‘ talents continue to show no limitations as the 29-year-old quarterback masterfully braids his daughter’s hair, earning praise from his wife and mother of his children.

Known for his precision passing skills, the two-time MVP had to get his eye dialled in slightly differently on Monday, December 2 as he found himself tasked with making Sterling Skye look presentable.

And it seems as though he did a good enough job to earn the thumbs up from the Sports Illustrated model as she took a photo of him working away on his kid’s head, which she posted to Instagram Stories.

“@patrickmahomes crushing his braiding skills,” wrote Brittany Mahomes online, with an image of Sterling posing with her blonde/brown her plaited up with a yellow bobble to hold it all in place.

The NFL star is making sure he uses his time to practice working on hair, and it’s a very shrewd decision on his part as he expects his second daughter, and third child overall, to be born sometime around February 2025.

Brittany is due in the same period that he could be stepping out onto the Caesars Superdome field, home of the New Orleans Saints, to contest Super Bowl LIX as the Chiefs hold an 11-1 record and have already booked their playoffs spot.

And as a family man himself, the timing of the birth at the end of the 2024/25 season could be perfect as it lets him spend a few months home supporting his wife and family and bonding with his infant child, something that aligns with his personal morals.

“We still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things. It is really cool,” Mahomes said of being at home with his kids. “Because I spend so much time in the building at football for these eight, seven months.

“And whenever I’m with my family, I want to enjoy those moments.”
