Patrick Mahomes owns the Raiders: Chiefs’ star QB’s unstoppable dominance at Allegiant Stadium revealed!

The rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders is experiencing one of its strangest chapters. After jeers from Las Vegas fans and players against Patrick Mahomes last week, many reminded the Raiders of the Chiefs quarterback’s dominance at Allegiant Stadium.

Chiefs and Raiders are sworn enemies. The enmity between the two franchises began in 1960 and has only grown since. Historically, both teams have faced each other 130 times, including the postseason, with 73 wins for Kansas City, 55 for Las Vegas, and two ties.

The feud goes beyond the field. Pre-game statements from both sides often inflame tempers and echo on social media. The most recent episode saw rookie safety Trey Taylor reinforce the taunts against Mahomes by a fan who attended the team’s training camp.

The seemingly harmless joke sparked controversy on social media. One of the most civilized but forceful responses came from an account specialized in football on X (formerly Twitter) that recalled the dismal record the Raiders have against the Chiefs in their own stadium.

Allegiant Stadium is like Mahomes’ second home

Teams in all sports defend their home turf fiercely, and the Raiders are no different. However, the team hasn’t quite found its feet at Allegiant Stadium, where they’re 17-17 since moving in 2020.

Mahomes, meanwhile, seems to feel right at home at the stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Chiefs’ star quarterback is undefeated at the Raiders’ home, going 4-0 against the team, plus the win he got over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII at that same venue.

According to MLFootball’s recent post on X, Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid’s record at Allegiant is the best for any QB-HC duo at this stadium. It doesn’t seem like the Raiders have much to scoff at, beyond Mahomes’ supposed resemblance to Kermit the Frog’s voice.

Chiefs-Raiders in 2024

This season, the Chiefs will visit Allegiant on October 27. The Raiders will pay a visit to Arrowhead on November 29. Since joining the Chiefs in the 2017 Draft, Mahomes has won 11 of the 14 games he has faced the Raiders.

Last year, the teams split victories. Mahomes and Reid confirmed their dominance at Allegiant with a resounding 31-17 victory. The Raiders got even on their visit to Arrowhead with a tight 20-14 win.

As every year, beyond the race for the playoffs, it is the pride of both teams that is at stake. With the dominance that the Chiefs have at Allegiant, it would not be surprising if they had the last laugh this season.
