Raiders break out fight against Chargers’ players after game got away from them in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Chargers offense had a great fourth quarter to end up defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 22 to 10 to start the 2024 NFL season on the right foot. For the first three quarters the black and silver dominated but could seal the deal and they showed their frustration.

The Chargers just scored a touchdown to try and put the game away by taking a 12-point lead and looked to increase it to 14 by going for the two-point conversion. The Raiders stopped the Chargers but that did not help them.

A mini-brawl broke out in the end zone after cornerback Jack Jones and side receiver Josh Palmer got into it and many other players and member of each team’s staff had to help to stop it.

The frustration was evident

The Raiders felt the frustration after having a lead for a great part of the game and could not put it away only to score 10 points and to loss in front of thousands of their own fans in the stands.

The referees ended up ejecting both Jack Jones and Joshua Palmer but it did not have any relevance in the outcome as there were just a few minutes left and Las Vegas could not move the ball all game.

One of the keys to the victory was the three turnovers that the Chargers caused the Raiders, while Los Angeles had only one. Next week LA looks to improve to 2-0 on their visit to Carolina and Las Vegas look to win their first game of the season when they visit Baltimore.
