Real Madrid still hasn’t found its best version this season and has just suffered a major blow that could complicate all its chances of winning a title.
Álvaro Arbeloa loses one of his best players right at what could be called the climax of the season, where they must continue chasing Barcelona in LaLiga and are playing for their lives in the UEFA Champions League Playoff.
After leaving the field during the match against Rayo Vallecano, the white club has confirmed that the English midfielder will be sidelined for around one month, missing at least five games during that period.
In an official statement, they reported that Jude Bellingham is suffering from a muscle tear in the semitendinosus of his left leg. As a result, Arbeloa will now have to find solutions in midfield.
Which matches will Bellingham miss with Real Madrid?
- Real Madrid vs Valencia – LaLiga
- Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad – LaLiga
- Osasuna vs Real Madrid – LaLiga
- Getafe vs Real Madrid – LaLiga
- Real Madrid vs Benfica – Champions League Playoff (first leg, presumably)
The England international joins Éder Militão, who will miss at least another two months due to a muscle injury. Meanwhile, the club is getting back key players such as Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
