Davante Adams’ talent is unquestionable but if he does not have a quarterback he can’t be successful in the NFL. That is why he is a huge trade candidate, and a contender could be looking for him. One of those contenders could be Derek Carr’s New Orleans Saints.
Earlier this week, the wide receiver told the Las Vegas Raiders that he would prefer to be traded and all of this has led to plenty of rumors about his future. The good relationship he has with players from other teams have to do as well and that includes the Saints’ signal caller.

New Orleans is a .500 team but they have shown that they can play. Now let’s not forget that Carr and Adams were teammates for a season in Las Vegas and that relationship was solid for that year.

To add a bit more of a romantic touch to this story, Derek Carr was also Davante Adam’s quarterback at Fresno State and he would love to be his signal aller once more in his career. He was asked about and he was sincere.
“I think all 32 quarterbacks would love to play with Davante,” Carr said, via ProFootballTalk. “We would welcome that. I don’t know if I’d get in trouble for saying that. I think it’s just everyone kind of knows that.”
Of course another possible landing spot could be New York as Aaron Rodgers would love to have him with the Jets, but it is very appealing to think that Davante Adams could play alongside Dere Carr once again.
