Scarlett Johansson shocked by Brittany Mahomes’ quick postpartum recovery

It is very clear that the postpartum experience of mothers is different from that of other mothers.

Brittany Mahomes’ recovery process was crazy, to be honest. The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recovered in just 6 days and was in the box for the playoff game last January 19.

Many were surprised to see her because the reality is that it is no less than a postpartum recovery, but Brittany was there with a big smile to see the Kansas City Chiefs take a big win that brings them closer to their dream of a third consecutive championship.

Scarlett Johansson couldn’t believe it

Scarlett’s first reaction when she found out that Brittany only needed 6 days to get well was that her mouth was open. Johansson has two children, Rose, 10, and Cosmo, 3.

It was quite a surprise for her and she told Today: “How come she’s upright,” Scarlett joked.

And The Avengers star had no problem detailing how she handled the postpartum process: “Six days after I had the baby, somebody told me that beer helps your milk come in, or whatever it is. So I think I had a giant Guinness and a giant bowl of puffed Cheetos, and I was staring off into the abyss like, ‘What have I done? Scarlett laughed.

She also gave a brief reminder about being patient with new mothers, and went on to share her experience of caring for her children at a young age.

Recalling that new mothers go through the hospital’s emotional wellness checklist, Johansson said, :”You say, ‘Okay, yeah. I’m okay. I’m fine. I’m fine.’ And then you go home and you think, ‘I’m not fine.'” They all go down that road, she said.

The Mahomes family is having a great time on and off the field. We’ll see if they can crown one of their great moments together with another Super Bowl celebration, but first Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs must win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in a game that promises to be full of emotion.
