Shedeur Sanders criticism appears to have no end: Plugged-in reporter drops new, concerning details

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is under scrutiny following reports of his behavior at the NFL Scouting Combine. According to multiple sources, including NFL draft analyst and insider Josina Anderson, Sanders’ interactions with team representatives have raised concern among some NFL staff members.

During the Combine, Sanders reportedly left a negative impression on at least two teams picking the top 10 of the 2025 NFL Draft. “They both said it was a bad meeting and that he came off as unprofessional and disinterested,” NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry wrote.

A superb talent! Shedeur Sanders might be forgotten soon in Colorado thanks to his replacement

“Both also said that after the meeting they had a lesser opinion of him than prior. These same people both met with [Miami Hurricanes quarterback] Cam Ward as well, and both said they loved Ward, and it was a great meeting. Now, I’m not trying to kill the kid. So, I want to give a bunch of caveats. These were just two people.

Now it is a time of analysis

The scrutiny comes at a critical time for Sanders, who is considered one of the top quarterback prospects in this year’s draft class. Despite his impressive college career, which includes 64 touchdowns and 13 interceptions over two seasons at Colorado, Sanders’ perceived attitude has led to mixed opinions among NFL scouts and analysts.

According to Matthew Berry, the Cleveland Browns liked what they saw of Shedeur Sanders but they also liked Cam Ward, so now it is a question of who is available when their turn to submit their pick in the draft comes up.

While some teams may view Sanders’ confidence as a positive trait, others are concerned that it could be off-putting in a professional setting. As the draft approaches, it remains to be seen how these reports will impact Sanders’ draft stock and whether he will be able to address these concerns in future interviews and workouts.
