Shedeur Sanders gets huge vote of confidence from Tom Brady as the GOAT’s draft evaluation is revealed

With the NFL regular season coming to a close this weekend followed by the conclusion of the College Football Playoff, a lot of eyes are already fully turned to the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. Is things currently stand, the New England Patriots would be picking No. 1 overall, with quarterback-desperate teams waiting behind them. Given New England has Drake Maye as their franchise quarterback, they would draft a position player if they stay at their pick.

That could be very good news for Travis Hunter. But for his Colorado teammate, Shedeur Sanders, it would take the quarterback out of the running to be the top player taken. With only Cam Ward as his draft class competition at the position, Sanders would likely only fall one or two picks in that scenario. Not everyone is sold on Sanders’ NFL potential, but league franchises certainly seem to be. Now, Sanders has gotten the seal of approval from an all-important former player: Tom Brady.

Shedeur Sanders’ laser focused on the 2025 NFL Draft and won’t be delusional about falling in love

Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson recently came out with an in-depth article in which he spoke to football executives around the NFL about Sanders and Ward. In it, he revealed details about Brady’s thoughts on Sanders, and the greatest of all-time is impressed.

Tom Brady loves Shedeur Sanders’ accuracy, leadership and preparation

From what I’ve been told about Brady’s opinion of Sanders… there is a great amount of respect for Sanders’ focus on preparation, his ability to learn and adapt, his accuracy and determination in the pocket, and his toughness to take hits and still be resilient… He also stayed in school for four years and developed, which is something Brady has repeatedly and publicly said he values in a young quarterback.

Brady’s opinion is important because he’s arguably the most important quarterback in NFL history. But it’s also important because Brady owns a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, who are one of the main teams looking for a new QB in the draft.

How much weight Brady’s voice holds over the Raiders front office is to be debated. The Raiders are also not in a position to draft Sanders, as they currently hold the eighth overall pick. But a big move up for Brady’s “guy” could very well be possible.
