Shedeur Sanders has started to fall in the Draft and has found motivation in an NBA Star to keep going

We’re now in NFL Draft month, and despite Shedeur Sanders having some great moments during the Colorado Buffaloes’ Pro Day, he’s started to fall apart in the NFL Draft, and the team he will play for remains a complete mystery.

At the start of the year, the comparison between him and Cam Ward, the former star from the University of Miami, was intense. Who will be the first pick? was the big question surrounding both quarterbacks. But things have started to change dramatically.

According to predictions from analysts and betting houses, the Tennessee Titans are expected to use their first pick on Cam Ward as their new quarterback. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants, who have the next picks, don’t seem interested in taking a quarterback-leading to Shedeur’s draft stock starting to tumble.

Kyrie Irving has become Shedeur Sanders’ guide

There’s no doubt that one of Shedeur’s biggest passions is NBA basketball. In one of the episodes of his podcast 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders, he shared that his encounter with Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving turned into a “lifelong connection.”

“Kyrie is a really good person. He’s definitely someone I’ll talk to week after week… he has a ton of knowledge,” Shedeur said. He also mentioned Kyrie is his role model: “He’s accomplished most of the things I want to do in life, so I feel like surrounding yourself with people like that, gaining knowledge, and learning from them will save you a lot of time, money, and mental stress.”

On the other side, 9-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving also has respect and words of encouragement for Shedeur, who’s on the verge of entering the NFL.

“I don’t necessarily agree with everything that comes with fame, but he has handled all the attention really well. He’s very humble, but when he’s on the field, he’s a killer.”

For now, it seems that Shedeur Sanders’ name won’t be called in the Top 3 of the upcoming Draft-unless a surprise happens.
