Shedeur Sanders’ shocking NFL destination revealed after Draft shakeup

The fate of Shedeur Sanders is more uncertain than ever. With four months to go until the 2025 NFL Draft, speculation is rife about the former Colorado Buffaloes star, who could end up playing for a team he initially did not want to join.

Most analysts believe Sanders will be a top-five pick this April, with many even placing him in the top three. However, the player and his father, NFL great Deion Sanders, have strict requirements for the team that drafts him.

In recent months, Sanders Sr. went so far as to say that he would personally intervene to ensure that his son landed on a team that met his criteria. The top candidates were the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders, but now, a new contender has emerged.

Is Shedeur headed to Nashville?

According to an X (formerly Twitter) user named Tommy R. Callahan III, Shedeur might be considering playing for an unexpected team. “Per source, while it is confirmed Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has no interest in playing for the Browns, there is in fact ‘heavy’ interest in the Titans,” the user said.

“This is a massive change from the Sanders’ previous demands for a move to a big market team with good infrastructure for a young QB,” the user added. “TEN [Tennessee] is now in the driver’s seat, which will surely have a ripple effect in the draft.”

In a reply to his own post, Callahan claimed that the “source” he cited was none other than Deion himself. However, Coach Prime has not commented on the matter and even hinted that he has not changed his stance on intervening directly if he does not like the team that drafts Shedeur.

For Coach Prime, it’s New York or Las Vegas

In response to rumors that he had vetoed the Browns and Titans as destinations for his children, Sanders wrote on X, “It will be multiple IDIOTS that will say things that totally aren’t true regarding where I would like Shedeur & Shilo to play in the NFL.”

However, it seems that the Buffs head coach is still reserving his right to intervene. “If I say it I will say it directly to whom it may concern not an attention seeker. I do know @nflcommish [Roger Goodell] personally! [Mic] drop.”

Following the results of Week 17, the Giants were ranked fourth in the draft order, and the Raiders eighth. Both are far from landing Shedeur without giving much in return. How much would they be willing to give up to get the young Sanders? We will surely find out in the coming months.
