Shedeur Sanders welcomes two high-impact players to the Browns in a new Mock Draft

While it is true that the Cleveland Browns have decided to part ways with Kevin Stefanski, it is from this moment onward that it’s time to think about the future, and one of the first steps is to project which NFL draft prospects could bring the greatest impact to the organization.

Shedeur Sanders shows why he should be the Browns quarterback

The NFL regular season has come to an end for all 32 teams, who now know their positions in the 2026 NFL Draft order, so it’s time to start mapping out plans.

The first step for the Browns is to determine who their new head coach will be, knowing that the options vary and the ideal profile depends on the analyst or expert you ask.

Once we know who the head coach will be, we’ll need to analyze the incoming NFL rookies, though several mock drafts already exist, such as the one recently published by ESPN‘s Jordan Reid.

A New Mock Draft for the Browns

The Cleveland Browns will have picks No. 6 and No. 28 (the exact position of the second pick depends on Jacksonville Jaguars playoff performance) in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Jordan Reid selected these prospects:

No. 6 pick: Jordyn Tyson, wide receiver, Arizona State

“Tyson is a creative wide receiver who can make catches outside the strike zone with his strong hands at the catch point. He’s also capable of making big plays after the catch. Durability will be the main thing to watch with Tyson during the predraft process, as he has been derailed by nagging injuries in each of the past two seasons, missing three games in 2025 because of a hamstring injury,” Reid wrote.

No. 28 pick: Olaivavega Ioane, G, Penn State

“He plays with a rock-solid base, and his hand power gives him knock-back strength as a pass protector. He didn’t allow a sack and gave up only two pressures this season. Ioane is also a physical run blocker, and he has the potential to be an immediate starter,” Reid detailed about Ioane.

These are two pieces that could have an immediate impact on Shedeur Sanders‘ offensive game, though everything will depend on whether the Browns decide to stick with their current quarterback or look for options in the NFL Draft or free agency.
