Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens continue to be celebrated in the Windy City, this time at the Chicago Bulls‘ game as the pair became heralded by the fans and the mascot as they traded their athletic professions for basketball.

The Bulls were at the United Center to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves but for a brief moment the spotlight was on the sports power couple as Benny offered them an unexpected gift.

The pair received two jerseys with their names and the number 36 on the back, as well as some golden chains with pendants adorning them as the moment became immortalized on Instagram with a caption of, “A GOAT, a Bear, and a Bull.”

Biles headed to the game wearing an oversized leather jacket paired with knee-high red boots, and of course dominated the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France by taking three gold medals and a silver back to the USA.

Meanwhile Owens opted for an off-white shirt and slim-fit beige pants with white sneakers as the NFL safety for the Bears continues to become beloved by the Chicagoan natives after joining them from the Green Bay Packers.

Bulls slump to defeat

Whilst it was a moment of stardom for Biles and Owens courtside, fans and the players will actually want to quickly forget the game as the Bulls fell to a 135-119 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The damage was done in the fourth quarter when they dropped an astonishing 45 points to the visitors to let the win disappear away after heading into the final part of the game with a 95-90 advantage.

As a result, they are now 3-6 for the season and sitting towards the foot of the Eastern Conference in ninth, already six games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers who sit soundly at the summit having not lost yet.

The Bulls will look to get back on track at the State Farm Arena on November 9 as they take on the Atlanta Hawks from 20:30 ET/17:30 PT.
