Jonathan Owens‘ wife, Simone Biles, recently shared a playful glimpse into their private life.
The Olympic gymnast used social media to showcase a moment with her husband during the offseason, highlighting their ongoing connection away from professional pressures and public scrutiny.
On Sunday, March 29, Biles posted a snap of Owens opening a bottle at home, shirtless, revealing his tattoos and casual demeanor. She added a brief caption, signaling her amusement and affection, and offered fans a rare look into the couple’s day-to-day interactions.
“Exactly what I prayed for,” Biles wrote online. The post was reshared by Owens and received enthusiastic reactions, demonstrating the couple’s lightheartedness, while reinforcing the strong bond they have maintained since their marriage in April 2023.
The relationship between Biles and Owens began in March 2020, when they met on the celebrity dating app Raya. Their connection quickly progressed through messages and video calls, laying a strong foundation despite pandemic lockdowns, and setting the stage for a committed relationship.
By August 2020, the pair made their relationship Instagram-official and in March 2021 marked a dual celebration of Biles’ 24th birthday and their one-year anniversary.
The couple took a vacation to Belize, sharing glimpses of their travels and personal moments, reinforcing their emotional bond and mutual support both online and privately.
Owens proposed on Valentine’s Day 2022, and the engagement announcement on social media reflected the couple’s commitment and public celebration of their future together. Fans and followers were quick to congratulate them on this milestone in their relationship.
Biles and Owens married legally on April 22, 2023, with a subsequent destination celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Surrounded by family and friends, the ceremony solidified their commitment, combining intimate moments with public displays of love and joy.
Simone Biles launches restaurant after Olympics successes
In March 2026, Biles opened her first restaurant, Taste of Gold, inside Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The venue aims to offer travelers upscale meals inspired by her gymnastics career, including sandwiches, salads, and signature skewers.
Biles partnered with Athlete Playermaker Group to design a space where fans can relax, eat, and connect with the athlete’s personal brand. She was present for the grand opening, welcoming guests and emphasizing her commitment to creating a unique experience for travelers.

The menu features Simone’s Skewers with chicken, steak, shrimp, and vegetables, along with shareable items and desserts. The restaurant blends functionality with a tribute to Biles’ gymnastics journey, offering fans an opportunity to engage with her achievements while enjoying quality meals.
The venture comes nearly two years after her triumphant return at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles helped the U.S. team capture gold in the team all-around competition and secured individual victories, reinforcing her status as a dominant force in gymnastics worldwide.
Individually, she won gold in the women’s all-around, delivering the highest score and outperforming elite competitors such as Rebeca Andrade and Sunisa Lee, while also capturing vault gold and floor exercise silver, expanding her overall medal tally.
By the end of the Paris Games, Biles had collected four medals, three golds and one silver, bringing her Olympic medal total to 11. Her performances highlighted resilience, skill, and continued dominance, securing her place in gymnastics history and inspiring a global audience.
