The Tequila and Taco Music Festival, now in its 8th year, is making a grand return to San Diego, this time at the newly chosen Thrive Park within Snapdragon Stadium. The event is slated for the weekend of Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7. Attendees can look forward to a rich tapestry of experiences including tequila tastings from a diverse selection of over 20 premium brands, delicious tacos from more than 15 local and regional culinary talents, unique offerings from artisan vendors, and a vibrant array of live music performances. This event has become a must-visit for thousands across the state, marking its place as a key event in the region.

The festival will also feature a plethora of taco options, from traditional street tacos to novel culinary innovations by esteemed chefs and restaurants such as Global Tacos Grill, Barra Cruda, Baja Tacos, among others.

In addition to the feast of tacos and tequila, the festival promises two days filled with live music from artists across genres, including performances by Shaggy and Ozomatli. Art lovers and shoppers will be thrilled by the assortment of goods from local artisans, including unique crafts, jewelry, apparel, and more from vendors like Temascali, Kopacetic Kreations, JorgeGeorge, Roni’s Treasures, Alberly, and SD Cork Hats.

Tickets for this eagerly awaited event are on sale now online, offering a variety of packages to cater to different tastes and preferences. Options include General Admission for $24.99, granting entry to the festival grounds (food and drinks sold separately); the Margarita Experience at 2 for $50, which offers entry for two and a complimentary margarita each upon arrival (food and additional drinks sold separately); and the Tequila Experience for $59.99, which includes festival entry, a souvenir tasting cup, and six .5 oz samples of craft tequila.
