Just this Thursday, NFL star Stefon Diggs and rapper Cardi B announced the birth of their first child together. It’s her fourth child and his third. But who are the New England Patriots wide receiver’s other two children? Meet them here.
In early November, Diggs and Cardi announced they were expecting a baby boy. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around,” the football player told People magazine at the time.
On November 13, the singer confirmed the birth with a heartwarming message on Instagram. The couple hasn’t revealed their son’s name, and Diggs hasn’t commented on it yet.
It’s also worth remembering that the Patriots star is in the midst of a legal battle for custody of his second daughter. He also has an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Who are Diggs’ children?
Among the few things known about Nova, Diggs’ daughter with his ex-girlfriend, Tyler-Marie, is that she was born in October 2016, a little over a year after Diggs was the 146th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Even so, it’s common to see both Diggs and his mother, Stephanie, sharing photos and videos of the little girl on social media. The situation with Stefon and Nova contrasts sharply with his relationship with his second daughter.
This September, Page Six reported that Diggs was being sued by a woman named Aileen Lopera. She claims that the player is the father of her daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, born in April.
A paternity test, requested by Diggs, confirmed that the player is the girl’s father. However, this sparked a new battle for Charliee’s physical and legal custody, which is still in court.
Diggs is on a roll
Life seems to be smiling on Diggs lately. In his 11th NFL season, and after a lackluster year with the Houston Texans, the star wide receiver is bouncing back and has already racked up 659 yards and three touchdowns on 359 catches with the Patriots.
Not only that, his new team is making steady progress toward the playoffs and is starting to be considered one of the AFC’s top contenders for the Super Bowl.
If his luck continues, who knows, maybe we’ll see Diggs and the Patriots play for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in February.
