Steph Curry leans on someone other than Ayesha to make his life easier

Steph Curry and wife Ayesha remain as close as ever, with the two supportive of one another in their various endeavours.

While the pair lean on one another when the time comes, there is another women in Steph’s life that makes sure his ventures away from the court are in order.

That responsibility falls on the shoulders of Tiffany Williams, who began working for the Warriors as a front desk receptionist before making her way up to the ranks of COO.

Having grown up a Warriors fan, Williams realized her dream of working in sports after studying public relations and interning for major corporations.

She joined the Warriors from there and that’s where she met Curry, working as the community relations manager during his rookie campaign.

“She is somebody you trust that understands who you are, how you operate, align passions on finding any opportunity to leverage whatever resources, partnerships, opportunities to change people’s lives. We vibed off of that for sure,” Curry told Andscape about Williams.

Bond between Curry and Williams has grown

At one point Williams was set to leave the Warriors, but Curry reached out to her as he needed someone to look after his interests away from the court.

Even though Williams had an offer on the table to leave, he managed to convince her to stay.

“When you talked to him, he looked you in the eye and paid attention to what you were saying. Maybe some guys are doing some other things when you’re asking them about events. He’s actually paying attention, listening and thinking about it. In the times where he had to tell me no, he would think about it and gave you a story on why. I thought that made him different…,” Williams later said about Curry.

With Curry’s brand off the court continuing to grow, he’s described Williams as the point person to make sure the integrity of deal structure is aligned with our mission”.

That’s why he trusts Williams to navigate things as the leader of their Thirty Ink collective that works across eight business groups and 13 entities involving studio, brand, fitness, lifestyle, impact, media, philanthropy and technology.

Acting as his non-NBA agent and prioritizing key business opportunities and creative endeavours that involve Thirty Ink, their relationship is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
