What a show Inside the NBA gave us last night, the show featured legend Shaquille O’Neal, Adam Lefkoe, Vince Carter and Candace Parker.
Ernie Johnson, Stephen, Kenny and Charles Barkley couldn’t make it and were replaced.
In the fun “Name That Line” section, experts are shown a picture of an NBA player’s face, whether he or she is playing or has hung up the boots, and the expert has to guess and say who it is.
To win, you have to get 11 points, because Name That Line is also a game where you have to recognize the people on TV instead of those who play basketball.
We were gifted with a very ironic moment
Shaq was leading by five points to Parker‘s three and Carter‘s four when broadcaster Lefkoe brought out the next mystery man.
He saw a picture of Stephen A. Smith‘s headgear on the screen and Shaq, without thinking for five seconds, thought it was the ESPN reporter.
Lefkoe said it was the right answer and O‘Neal scored three points and was on his way to the win, but Shaq was asked why he had bet on Smith without thinking.
Shaq did not answer the question as such, but he sent his regards to Smith and even sang a fragment of “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine”, the laughter did not escape the studio and the message was very strong.
“You’ll never find a hairline like mine,” O’Neal hilariously began singing on the show.
Shaq didn’t forget about Kenny Smith
That’s right, even Kenny couldn’t escape the NBA Hall of Famer teasing.
Next up on the screen was Smith and Shaq, as if he had a GPS in his brain, hit the shot.
O’Neal was crowned with 11 points and proudly celebrated his triumph on Inside the NBA.
“The one who guesses blindfolded, Shaquille O’Neal!” commented Lefkoe, as if announcing the new king of the world. It was quite a show.
Shaquille started dancing like the studio was his own disco, while Lefkoe, Parker and Carter couldn’t stop laughing at O’Neal’s humor.
It’s no secret how much charisma Shaq has, it seems his role on TV is as spectacular as his time in the NBA.
