Stephen Curry’s true off-court behavior revealed by new Warriors teammate with shocking story

The whole world knows about Stephen Curry‘s sport-altering talent. Now 36 years old, Curry has won everything there is to win in the sport of basketball. He continues to break records, sometimes ones he’s set himself, and is still performing at an extremely high level. Despite that, he can’t carry the team by himself, and the Golden State Warriors‘ roster talent has been exposed a bit as they sit at 22-22 through the first half of the season.

Thankfully, Curry got some help in the team’s blowout win over the Chicago Bulls recently. Rookie Quinten Post came off the bench and poured in a career-high 20 points. The center out of Boston College could be looking at more playing time soon, but even if he doesn’t, he has already given fans something special: a behind-the-scenes story about Curry being a great teammate.

No Uber, no problem! Steph Curry’s late-night ride to Quinten Post

Quinten Post breaks out for Warriors in win over Bulls

Post tells an incredible story about getting back to the airport following a road trip and trying to get an Uber around 2:30AM. While unsuccessfully trying to find an Uber, Curry walked up to him and offered him a ride home.

Steph is like, ‘I got you’. He drove me home, he did a little detour (about 20 minutes). That just shows how he is as a person. Probably out of the 50 people that were at the airport, Steph was the last person that needed to worry about if I got home. That’s just the person he is. Great teammate and then, obviously, everything on the court speaks for itself.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard one of Curry’s teammates speak so highly of him off the court. Kelly Oubre called him an “ultimate hero“, while Moses Moody has commented on his “honesty and humility“.

There’s a reason everyone wants to play with him, including LeBron James, who was ecstatic to finally be his teammate at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
